This has been on my reading list for a few days--had to do a double take and read it twice. It hits so hard. Nostalgia swelled in me and my apartment smells like fries.
This was so good. All the highway trip my heart accelerating with Max’s reminiscence. I feared the worse. I kept thinking- stop eating goddamit, slow down and focus on the road. And the end was the mother load… in more ways than one 🤣.
I think there was a nice mirror of the double cheeseburger and Max and Aaron as a pair.
Two go in, but as we saw at the end…only one goes out.
Very glad that came across. Always appreciate your thoughts!
I just read this twice (consecutively), and I'm vegan! 😆
I’m glad it didn’t turn you away!
Ha! Same, I haven’t had a burger damn near two decades and was still captivated
Thanks Sudana! Glad you liked it.

There are worse things that your apartment could smell like! So happy that this resonated with you, Will.
Have been meaning to read this for a few days. Glad I finally did. Thanks for an awesome read!!
Thanks Daniel!
Nice one, Bob!
Thanks Daisy!
Couldn't agree more with Aaron. Two simple burgers are always better than the big ones.
You just can’t argue with the logic of it.

Haha so glad you liked it Ana!
